who am i?
I’m a student in Boston studying Political Science and Entrepreneurial Leadership. I grew up mostly in the Midwest, spending time in rural Indiana and the suburbs of Chicago. Boston is great, but Chicago is where my heart is.
I get more out of life experiences than I do in a classroom, and I love volunteering. My goal in life is to one day run my own non-profit. I never feel as though I’ve done enough good in the world, and I struggle with that responsibility every day; it motivates me more than money or fame.
I’m passionate about domestic social welfare. My philosophy is that America has no place in telling other countries how they should govern when so many of our citizens’ needs aren’t being met. Some have called me a “bleeding-heart liberal”, but I think I’m just a “bleeding heart”.

“My goal in life is to one day run my own non-profit. ME TOO!!! i would love to be an executive director of a non-profit geared toward increasing children’s literacy, one day. however, i’m dealing with the harsh realities of the “real world” and realizing my so-called idealistic vision is not as simple as it sounds.
